Hi Doug
I have in this moment 640 Hours with similary setup on my 701 .. This wild fing flying well like R912 80HP .
Be patient about bearings and centrifugal clutch , check this parts every 200 hours . :) I have biger cooling radiators ( 3 ) due completly cowl engine .

Hi Doug, I am preparing a BMW 1100RS engine to put on my 701 myself. I am eager to learn from your experience.Would you like to share some pictures about the engine mount. What reduction are you using. And what about vibration an cooling? Sorry for the many questions but I am very excited about this engine as it provides the means for affordable flying. But I also know there are some problems to overcome. More pictures soon???
