Top skin on sans instrumentation

One of our members put up his own money to buy the spring mod for the RAA Chapter 85 Cruzer. Him and I installed it. I understand the concept and the benefits, but I found the unit quite finicky, and was really not convinced it was just not another way to skin a cat. I came away thinking the idea was good, but there had to be a more eloquent solution. The biggest plus I can see is not having to get at the bungee after the engine is in, but then that bungie jack someone designed seemed like a solution to that. Neither plane is flying yet, so doing a comparison will be fun. Thanks for taking a look at my photos and commenting, it is always nice to know there is someone out there.
Nice. Get rid of the Bungee now that you have room to do it. made a big improvement on my 701.
