Separating the elevator from the aileron motion. I copied a design from somebody who published it in this forum about 10 years ago. The frame that holds the elevator bellcrank has been cut out of the torque tube on both ends and a tube has been inserted to transmit the rotational motion of the torque tube from the front to the aileron bellcrank. The elevator frame can now stay fixed and is held in position by the triangular bracket that is riveted to the stiffener in the back of the seat. This picture and IMG_1067 show how the aileron belcrank is in both extreme positions and the elevator frame is fixed.
