The treads on each screw are sealed with Loctite 567. Use just enough to completely coat the threads and wipe off the excess so you do not leave any excess in the tank. 567 is available from McMaster Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/#45855k27/=zkpe8n Expensive, but it can be used for all of the fuel fittings and plugs.
