Yep! The formed overhead canopy modification is not original with me. After seeing the tuff tests done with and without it, I am a believer in that everyone should make this mod however they work out the mechanics.

Overhead port side center section rib supporting the fuel shut off valve for that wing tank. The lower part of the rib continues below the main wing to form the door frame. Hinge flap is attached. The rib is attached to the lower wing skin with nut plates. The combination of attachment with "L" angles to the overhead frame as well as the lower wing skin provides rigid support for the doors.
