Norm,

Weight in photo with Rotax 618 was 707.0 pounds. I have replaced the 618 with a Raven/Geo engine. Weight on floats with that engine was 847 pounds. I have since taken the plane off the floats and installed the new style land gear. It sounds like you have an air leak somewhere in your nose gear retract system. I think I have the plans that my plane and floats were built from but I doubt if they would help you keep your nose gear from slowly falling.

Hi Philip,

How much does it weight ?  I have the same plane with amphibs and a Subaru conversion ... Just wondering.

Do you have the plans for the front post (retractable) my wheel when retracted won't stay up...Will fall back down slowly...Until caught by the sensor which will eventually activate the electric retract...

Where is you empty weight ??? I havd my Gross weight bumped to 1200lbs ...

Thanks for the infos.
