hi jerold, i made new panel out of .025 into 3 sections that screw into old cut out,(left 20 mm of old all around)

put 2 L angles.025 vertical at joints. I can now take left, right or center without remowing the lot. regards jim

Jim,

     Did you break panel into 3 sections so you could remove individual portions for access to the back side of the panel by unscrewing or drilling out some rivets? 

     If so, did you use factory panel as a base to mount this second panel with cutouts on the factory panel to accomodate the instruments?   Jerry Ebke
