Phil if your "cooling fence" allows more air into the cowling than the Jabiru 3300 factory fibreglass tubes you might want to enlarge the exit opening on the bottom to allowl the heated air to get out...other wise you pressurise the cowls and airflow is restricted. THe incoming air is heated and expands in volume, so you need an cowl exit opening of 2 1/2 times the surface area of the inlet air opening. Just a thought? Most excellent workmanship.

Phil, Looks great. One thing...my Jabiru ram air ducts only provide air to the outer 2/3'rds or so of the cylinder barrel, and even then, they have deflectors to keep the barrels from robbing too much air from the heads. Are you going to be incorporating a similar design to keep the majority of the air going through the heads where the most cooling is needed? Good luck!

A very tidy looking installation there Phill. You will be well rewarded for your effort as far as cooling goes. It'll save you some headaches further down the track.

Excellent quality workmanship. I am anxious for your "in-flight" cooling report once you get flying. It looks so good it has to work good !

Phill, I'm impressed, but I don't get out much ;-) You should have a very cool engine.

Think about sparkplug removal and maintenance, if you haven't already done so. The plugs tend to get loose.

Hi Phill

Looks very good.

Hope you have made a set of patterns might be handy for other builders using Jab 3300

Cheers

Allan
