the red and white is an older ch701 (2001 model) with the original C Heintz floats. The Yellow one is a CH701 SP(2007 model) with the new type floats. Empty weight for the red one is 330 kg and the yellow one 380kg due to the heavier float installation. To answer to Bob's comment YES the red one gets off the water faster

Great picture showing two different styles of float mounting. Three wheel vs. four wheel. I'll bet the three wheel gets off the water faster in side X side tests.
