Clips rivet to the airframe, and have nut plates that are used to attach fairings. A few screws and these come off for inspections. Clearances have been opened up to allow rubber chafe protection between fairings and skins. Holes in bottom allow for water drainage.

Go For it!  I need to get some pics up with the fairings removed to show the underlying supports.

Very tidy looking build I must say and a few great ideas. I like your panel and cargo pod and these little fairings just trim it all up nicely. Good work. Mind if I use some of your ideas? :)
