Hi all

Thanks for the advice. I made a mistake and posted an old photo of my fuel system. I eliminated the fuel damper and connected the fuel flow sensor straight into the fuel pumps. I used for this thick-wall aluminum tube for stiffness on the fuel flow transducer. The TBI engine is not connected tightly to this aluminum tube. There are two small hoses segments until the engine. The Subaru works smoothly and offsets relative to the engine mount are quite small, even during the stops and departures. To ensure the integrity of the aluminum tube, I intend to anchor it in the engine mount.

I take this opportunity to show some improvements I made in the heat insulation of the fuel line. In addition to the engine heating problems, I also had problems of fuel line vapor lock. I solved this problem by installing thermal barriers at the muffler and the engine block and increasing the flow of air at the top of the engine via an air baffle. I'm posting more three photos to show these modifications.

I Agree with Ian you need a flexible fuel line there, But other than that looks great.

Hey there paulo.  I think your install looks great in general but agree with Ian's comment below.  My approach was to generally assume that anything forward of the mounts is constantly moving (really it is, especially during start up, shut down or rapid changes in moment), whereas the airframe remains still. With vibration comes work hardening, increased brittleness and potential cracking.  I think it is also worthwhile to see if you can support the assembly off the engine itself and off of the engine mount with a flexible connection between somehow.  Maybe a pairing of some adel clams used in a clever fashion?  Bounce it off of someone else as I'm not an A&P and don't claim to be.

Hi. Can I suggest the fuel line from your filter to the flow transmitted should be a flexible line. Looks like engine movement would fatigue and fracture the rigid fuel line over time.
