Viking dual fuel pump install in Zodiac 650B in lower right of firewall - side view from left - per Jan Enggenfellner suggestion. Fabricated a drip pan and foot guard for pumps and fuel lines with a 9 degree slope to rear. If leak occurs, fuel can vent through (3) 3/16 Avex rivets with stem removed to outside of fuselage

Chris used the KISS method, not that much movement takes years to wear and simple to replace. Keep it simple and weight down?
Hi Chet, I agree - I have used a Garlock DU bushing made of sintered bronze, Teflon and lead composite to eliminate all contact points between steel and aluminum rotating surfaces. I used these in industry and on a previous homebuilt. The bushings are 1/32 "wall and are available in bushing, flange bushing and thrust washer.

What is that bushing (bearing ) your using in rudder pedal ? I dont't think much of standard Zenith set up of steel on alum.
