I used a crescent wrench or channel lock as a spanner wrench on the inside cam of the fuel cap neck to make it easy to turn. If you need to remove it, remove all fuel, use heat gun on the inside of the neck to soften the sealer, and then use the spanner to unscrew. - Safe Flying!

Thanks Christopher - this is the standard cap for 601-XL and 650. Sealer is AC-240 B-2 polysulfide rubber fuel tank sealer from AC Spruce.

Beautiful job!!!  Super clean. Could I have done this on the 750, the caps stick up quit a bit, so you'd have to cut the filler neck way down?  What kind of sealer did you use?
