Thanks for the tip and drawings, I may try to build your knife when I start cutting sheets again. Even though the Olfa did a respectable job, scoring as may times as necessary before breaking I have slipped out of the groove, widened the cut line etc. many times (and yes, ruined some pieces) with the thicker sheets.
Your website is pretty interesting, have had some experience with dynamic braking in electric propulsion in very large offroad vehicles, never thought of the charge/release angle of the power generation. Pretty neat idea. Good luck with both your projects...
