Tony,

Thanks for the info. I have ordered my TBI-40-S but it has not arrived yet.

After turning on the fuel pump, I pull the knob on the instrument panel from the by pass for about six seconds.
Advance throttle about 1/3 full rich and the engine starts every time. When the idle control is set correctly, you have no need to touch the bypass to the regulator. I use an O2 sensor from Jegs to adjust the idle. I would not run an aircraft engine with out one!!!!. The sensor is about three inches from the block. the only time I touch the enrichment is on a long level flight.. Otherwise full rich.

Hi Tony,

Did you use a dedicated cable for the regulator bypass or is it hooked into the mixture cable somehow? That is what I am hoping to do so I can eliminate one cable. What model# throttle cable did you use?

Steve
