No more ski flying
OH-U345 at EFVL.
Believe or not... just 2 weeks ago there was 2ft of snow and great ski flying. Then in just 4-5 days most of the snow was gone!

We probably have some 3-4 weeks until the bugs arrive, it's around early June when the invasion comes. In the bush you'll need a gas mask to fight the mosquito fart (not to mention the bugs themselves).
The spacer is there to give better prop clearance and it also increases the AoA a bit.

Let me guess... after snow season comes Black Fly season??? Here in Canada we went from snow, sand & salt on the truck windshield to all kinds of bugs on the windshield in 2 weeks. Black Flies, Horse Flies, Deer Flies (note the size references)...and a usual host of Mosquitoes & No-See-Ums. I see the spacer on the nose gear tube for skis is still installed. Float season comes in the very near future :>)
