Departing Kittie Hill 45 minutes before a four-day storm that caused flooding in TX, we got to Carlsbad in time to visit Carlsbad Caverns for three or four hours. Chandler Aviation is a new (at least the building) FBO that was very good to us. They have a beautiful facility and had the rental car waiting as promised. For our part, we arrived 15 minutes earlier than our stated ETA,,,the airlines should be so good. Later, Chandler loaned us space in the large hangar in the background to change spark plugs (a story in itself).
