Jimmy, I remember mine being the same way, I had to take the paint off the bearing surface. Remember to grease the metal/ bearing surface as once you rivet it in you can't take it apart. Keep up the good work. I might fly the 750 to Copperstate flyin in Arizona if everything works out, Jim
