Yes the “Ugly” RV 12 belongs to Dave & Kevin, two hangers down from me at Santa Rosa airport, my home base. It has yet to fly but is ready to do so. They are proud of it and it seems to have its strong points. I am reasonably sure my Zodiac with my 120 hp Jabiru will handily out perform it. And I have 10 more gallons of fuel, placed where it should be, in the wings.
They were not handing out wine at the event but I prefer beer anyway.
