Phase 1 test area consists of a 2 mile wide corridor from home base KLVN, over KSYN (Stanton, which is a great grass airstrip but is closed in winter), another 6 miles to clear the Mode C, and then an area bounded by the airspaces of KFBL, KOWA, KTOB, and KRGK.

Plenty of space.

Is pretty much what I asked for, with the exception of the Mode C restriction (even though I have a transponder).

It's pretty close to what I asked for, except for the Mode C restriction (I do have a transponder). I wanted to be able to go directly from Home Base to KFBL and KRGK.

Looks like you have a pretty big place to fly. do you get to pick your area or is one given to you?
