Our plane has been on floats for most of its lifetime from mid-90's to 2006.  Two sets of floats came with the plane but they both are plain with no wheels.

Save the old gear. Someday if you find a set of the older 950 amphib floats you can use it to mount your floats. Just leave the old spring on the floats and remove the new spring, wheels & brakes as a single piece. The older set up gets off the water quicker.
