I finished making my "No Slot" flaperon mod today. I used 3/32 4130 for the flat pieces and nesting 4130 tubing. It was a fun little project.

I ordered it from VXB bearing company (vxb.com) and it was item KIT8997. Hope that helps.

One more thing , What kind of bearing did you use. I found some stamped metal ones at aircraft spruce . Really Cheap. And some cast iron ones on Amazon. Not as cheap but with sealed bearings instead of nylon. ??
