With two well-briefed helpers, I can get the wings folded/unfolded in 15-20 minutes, and on the trailer in less than half an hour. I made steel spikes to help aligning holes for the 4 wing attachment bolts. In the beginning it was 4-5 helpers that took half an hour per wing, plus some cursing and pinched fingers.
I bought the kit from ZenithAir. The near-by airport charges my ultralight with a commercial airliner rate. The added weight, work and cost of wing-fold kit plus trailer, allow me to park my 701 without the airport parking charge !!
The kit itself is not difficult to make. Retrofitting it to a finished 701 is harder. I can show you photos if you tell me where.
