Most builders already own the tool required to replace / install a new nose gear bungee. A 1/2" drive ratchet. Simply insert the 1/2" socket drive in the front stub tube on the nose gear. With the bungee hooked over the rear stub tube, lift the bungee with the ratchet handle pivoting in the stub tube, once past the horizontal postion the bungee slides down the nice smooth (no cutting) handle onto the front stub tube. "Bob's your uncle!" KISS
