Bob your thoughts on the CH750 vs CH701 are right on the money. The only big advantage the CH750 has over the CH701 is the level of CNC parts & match drilled kit. This results in a much faster and easier build of the CH750 kit. You could probably build 3 CH750 kits to every CH701 kit. I have flown both aircraft and the CH750 cockpit is more roomier and quieter as a result of .020 skins vs. the CH701 .016 skins (less oil canning)... but it results in a heavier airframe.
Why not the 750 , where do I start !. its heavier 2. it has less useful load 3.[ my new 701 will be registered at 1320 to stay lsa ]4. it takes longer to get off the ground 5. it takes longer to land 6, it requires more horsepower to preform 7. it burns more fuel 8. it costs more to build 9. you really dont need the extra cockpit room [ my old 701 is as wide at the shoulders as a cessna 180 ] 10 . it flys like every other cessna and the 701 handles like a sports car etc, etc, etc ,
Great pic with the Aircraft Spruce catalog! It's now on the Aircraft Spruce Facebook page!
