Knocked the rough "mill finish" down with some Nuvite F9. Came out pretty good. Will have to go over it again with a finer grade of polish some day...

Looks great. I ended up kind of enjoying the process. What I found worked best for me was the F9 with lambs wool on a angle grinder to compound. Clean it with mineral spirits and paper towels. Then used the G6 with orange pads on the cyclo. This breaks down and does better longer you do it. Cleaned again with mineral spirits. Then S with blue or white pads. Then used sweat shirt material with the same pads to buff it out. Then I used mineral spirits in a spray bottle with microfiber cloth to get rid of the residue in the cracks and rivets. You really need to clean it well. If you let the residue dry it is tough to get out. The micro fiber and mineral spirits worked best for me. It is kind of messy. I threw away the sweat shirt material. But were able to wash the micro cloth and pads. GOOD LUCK

Time expended?? I hope that it was the whole wing and just not the tip area!
Anyway, good job!
I hear that you'll hire out after gaining all that polishing experience?

Took maybe 3 hours. Not difficult, but kind of dirty. Black crud gets everywhere. I tried cleaning a polish pad so I could re-use it, but just made a mess everywhere. Looks good from 20 feet, and under garage light.
