Tonight I am installing the elevator control horns, and then it's finally time to disasemble, debur, clean, primer and rivet it all together!

Not bad, thanks.  I'm plans-building also, have only completed rudder & stabilizer to date.  Elevator is almost done, it's presented some challenges as I'm "off the plan" as soon as I decided to make it the same way as the 750 version.  For example, I didn't know about the A5 pitch 25 in the centre section until I saw your picture - I'll have to make mine pitch 20 instead, as I've already drilled one of the skins with pitch 40 in that area!

Hi Marty, yes the pitch is 25 and they are a5.

Thanks for looking, how's your plane going?

Hi Steve,

Lovely work.  I'm about where you were when you took this picture - have just bent the nose skins.

I'm building a 701 but with 750-style elevator - looks like the rivets around the centre section are A5, judging by the black clecoes - and closer than 40mm pitch?
