175 hours of operation on the engine, with 100LL has resulted in some build up on the pistons. Lack of build up would be a sign of piston overheat.

Lannie - From what I was told by the Rotax Guy \ A&P, this is a typical amount. Running 25% MoGas or alternating gas types will reduce this.
Would this be the typical for a high percentage of 100LL in the 912ULS. I have run 239 hrs so I bet I could look like this or worse?
