Dale, the plane looks GREAT! CONGRATULATIONS FOR A JOB WELL DONE. Now the fun begins, testing and getting the feel. Fly safe. At one of the meetings you will have to give a break down of the whole process. Good Luck!

Looks really good.

I will be interested to hear how it goes. I too have a zodiac with a Viking engine.

The weather has kept me away from the airport for over a month. I am just now starting to fly with my new engine.

It is smooth and somewhat quiet. I am still setting the prop. I will know if I got it correct next time I get a nice day.

That first flight is exciting.

It looks awesome.  I am glad that you overcame the odds and temptations of putting the third wheel on the wrong end.  Although I like the term taildragger, there is a reason that this is called a "conventional" gear configuration.  I hope to complete mine as a conventional with a WW Corvair, like many others have.
