This was my Challenger I had built in 2000. Colors are "Hudson Bay Trading Co. Blanket". I had not seen C-IMCD since the fall of 2009 when I sold her to Dieter Kujawaski and started my CH750 build at Can-Zac. I flew 400 hrs on this Challenger with Rotax 503 2-stroke engine. Rebuilt there is 650 hrs on the engine / airframe. I was flying this Challenger the morning of 9/11 just north of the capital Ottawa. I flew my CH750 all day today Sept. 11 / 2011.

Challengers are not hard to fly...very easy to wreck! I was delighted that she was in good hands and taken care of by the new owner. Challengers are a stick & rudder aircraft, the long wings and short fuselage cause "adverse yaw" so the turns must be coordinated with heavy rudder application. The short distance from prop to rudder makes water handling easy.
