This is the Zenith 1450 Amphib. float riveted together. Note - The landing gear, hydraulic & brake lines, tires & rims are not installed. This assembly will be done over the colder winter months in the heated garage. First priority is to assemble the 2nd float with the skills & tricks learned on construction of this float. Tip - The 3M Marine Adhesive sealant does not stick to the bare aluminum. Simply wait 1 - 2 days after assembly and the excess around the rivets and seams will "rub off" like an eraser on paper. The 3M sticks like cement to anything you have cleaned with Lacquer Thinner and painted with Zinc primer.

Now ...from that picture I see from the curve of the float that a ONE piece skin is not really possible. -:)
