This is exactly what I'll be doing. Same problem as the rest of us, I suppose...2-car garage, and my wife still parks in it!

The 2x4's are about 56 inches. I put J hooks in the rafters and the boards.  I have ten segments of chain on each of the four pairs of hooks.  It's easier to get the wing up there with the longer chain segments, and then you can hitch it up the garage door clears.

Yep, for most of us it is such a case ! And then you figure out that this 2 car garage is pretty small...

That's when you get a fuselage in there !
