Setting deflections and installing rudder stops

This was a long time ago but, no, I didn't have any problem getting the 23, so, I didn't have to look at the nose gear. Sorry I can't be of more help.
Did you have any trouble getting the rudder to reach the full 23 degrees? We seem to be having trouble where the rod on the nosegear hits the rubber and/or the rod end on the steering rods hits the firewall before we reach 23 degrees of turn relative to the axis of the rudder. Any thoughts?
