I was a witness of Normad's 701 on take-off right after a piper supercub.with an O-360 on alaskan bushwheel..
The 701 has nothing to be ashamed of....it climbs like a sick angel that's for sure.People on the ground were very impressed with the SHORT takeoff distance and the angle of climb.....amazing.
Normand's subaru engine has the nicest sound and runs beautifully.
Congrats Normand on a job well done. Fly safe.
