It's not actually that cold in the cabin, the engine warms up the cockpit and we have a heater too.
But I have to admit I hate the cold weather, which will strike us soon. It will be almost two times colder than in your freezer... March and April are just fine with a lot of sunlight :)

Ari, they only way I want to see those temps is watching it on tv while sipping a hot totty. Still looks like fun though - enjoy.

Hello! Ski flying is fun but the short season starts in February. December and January are very cold and dark with very little of daylight, which limits flying to weekends unless you have a day off. The weather takes care of the rest.. its either snow and wind or -20...-40C. March and April are the best for ski flying but the spring then comes fast putting an end to the fun until float flying begins :)
Yes, the cage is there but it does not bother me. I'm sitting right in between the bars.
