It was -5C this morning. The snow had settled to a depth of 3 feet. Note the "tire tracks" from the wheels penetrating through the ski bottoms. The drag created by the wheels results in 40% longer take-off runs over straight skis.

Leading edge slats allow my CH750 to do what it was designed to do... back country STOL flying. There are VG's on the underside of the elevator leading edge. I have VG's on my CH601HD...and no leading edge slats on it .
