Online Community of Zenith Builders and Flyers
Since starting to build my CH750 I have been learning new metal working skills. This ski project has been not different. To bend "L" without distorting or cutting the "L" structure. This is a picture of the head made for the conduit bender. It is 1" steel plate that started as an 8"dia.X1" thick circle piece of steel cut in half. The half are bolted together with a 1/4" spacer between them. This is required to allow 2 pieces of "L" 0.125 to be bent together. A base to attach this to the hydraulic jack is needed.

Bob,
That probably explains why skis aren't that cheap to purchase!! Many tools are required to have good results and to manufacture many sets...
Learning every day...no doubt. That's the interesting part.
Can't wait to see the finished product. Seems like you're progressing quite fast.
