Here is how you need to think of the adjustments in order to not be confused:)
- Tighten the side nuts until you have the firmness you would want from the suspension
- Tighten the center just enough until the side straps are starting to unload. This will remove the load from the bottom plastic block.
- If you like the way your rudder turns now, but would like to just replace the bungee with steel, leave the center nut off.
