I believe that I cut 1" or so off one and 3 to 4" off the other. I kept about 4 1/2" of overlap in the tube with the other tube. Plans call for minimum 4" overlap I figure more is better as long as it doesn't touch the welded portion.

nice picture, thanks...can you tell me if you had to cut the strut tube to fit or it was okay from the factory? Mine seems a little tight on the front and the rear strut seems almost 2 inches too long...thanks again
