This is Stu Duncan's CH701 powered by the Rotax 912S engine/WARP 68" prop. This CH701 has a 10" Dynon Skyview, Micro-air radio & transponder. Empty weight 639 lbs. While at Can-Zac, I flew with Stu to conduct his check out on type training. With Stu and "Ballast Bob" (210lb) and full fuel the CH701 was climbing 1200 - 1400 fpm @ 70 mph. From start up to to shut down all instruments were "in the green". A straight forward 2 day engine install, with the ring engine mount package. Stu picked his CH701 kit up at the Mexico, USA factory August 2007 and had built to the wings attach stage before suffering an attack of "Builders Block" which stalled the project. Mark Townsend @ Can-Zac got Stu up and building again and this is the result a short time later. After our flight together Stu could not quit smiling and told Mark "She climbs like a home-sick Angel."
