the vally to the left of cloudy peak (centre of photo) is the havelock river vally and will be the location of our next visit, specifically the growler strip and hut which is located around 9 k's up this vally. i'm keen to throw the camping gear on board and stay the night there. but i will require a spell of settled weather as things can cut up rough very quickly here. as an aside this area was used for some of the filming of lotr.
