Smith Super Cub kits are now built by Back Country Cubs. They even offer a Cub wing with leading edge slats !

Hi Bob and Andre,
Two of my buddies built two Super Cubs from Smith kits from Ontario. The floats were built by Bruce Isles in Digby NS and cost about $35 K/set. The planes both tied for best built homebuilt in Sherbrooke Quebec and Stanley NS. They burn about $50.00 of fuel/hr and they do their own maintenance. They have an all glass panel....beautiful planes!

I would rather put gas in the CH701 than the Super Cub. The annual inspection on the CH701 is probably cheaper as well? I know the Zenair floats on the CH701 is a whole lot cheaper than the Cub. I still love the Cub... but would rather pay for the costs of the CH701 :>)
