Thanks Vincent - yes, I think I'm making very good progress! And LOVING IT!!
Vincent - this wing represents about 15-20 hours of work so far. The confidence level goes up with each part assembled - that, plus trying to memorize as much of the plans as I can in my off-time and watching the "home-built help" DVD's - when I started working on this wing, I really didn't have any hesitation or worry. I'm finding that my efficiency is going up as I progress... plus, I put a lot of time in the shop. I work out of my home and I go out to the shop several times every day - if for nothing else, deburr some holes, prep some parts, or look at the plans again. I'm probably getting at least 15 hours per week in... so maybe "fast" is relative?
