Did the upgrade to the torque tube and elevator control rod. Also added the Penny washers to the flaperon bellcrank studs. Good timing as I was really not buying into the 2-2 cotter pins securing my control linkage. The bolts are a great idea in my mind. As well as the penny washer on the flaperon bellcranks to spread out the surface area on the UHMW poly bearings

Tom,  I did ponder trimming the tubes a bit, but the "pick list" on the safety bulletin was easy to obtain versus hunting for the right length bolts.  The tube diameter associated with the elevator control linkage (versus the bellcrank pivot) was already properly size at 3/16" for the AN3 on my linkage.  Just needed to drill to 1/4" for the AN4.  Now if I could just get my nicopress swaging technique consistent!!

Thanks, David. I just completed the same. Nice stack of washers. Probably better than to try to trim off the tube and get it straight.
