I took a couple of photos with my cellphone demonstrating the arctic daylight just after the noon. The sunlight turns the sky orange also in the northern direction.

..and to continue (used my cellphone to reply), we do not have an oil cooler, just the radiator and a heat exchanger (water / oil). In wintertime at least 50% of the radiator front surface has been covered but at the extreme temps up to 75%.
It was not that cold, -17C. Last winter I went for a day trip (700km), it was -27C in the morning. 50..75% radiator surface covered. No issues with fuel, the booze in the gas takes care of water condensation. No additives required.
Beautiful pictures and looks really cold!!! What is the coldest temperature that you fly in? How much do you cover the radiator and oil cooler? Ever have issues with fuel freeze up? do you add any fuel additives?
Thanks!!
Looks cold... its -28C to -15C these days and lots of snow in my part of Canada.
