Thanks again for the comment, Bob! The amphibian floats have good points too as well as Full Lotus floats. Straight aluminum floats seem quite rare today, most LSA or UL planes that I have seen are equipped either Full Lotus or amphibian floats.

Awesome picture. Stay with the straight floats they perform better than amphibs...wiegh 90 lbs less. That is more load in the cockpit or fuel tank.
