These are 415cm long. Width at the step is approximately 70cm, however, I did not measure the width accurately but it sounds the new style is longer but narrower.

What are the float measurements?  Newer1150 floats are 15 1/2 ft long X 24 inches wide at the step. The older style floats were 11 1/2 ft long X 24 inches wide. The 1450 floats are 15 1/2 ft long X 27 inches wide at the step. The pictures are great...you keep posting and I'll keep drooling :>)  I'm thinking the new 1150 straight floats are better suited to the CH750.

I thought so - so posted the pic ;)

Just kidding :)

The 1450As you have are more versatile. We're stuck to the water and as winter is approaching it can be any morning now we're gonna see the plane covered with snow and frost. Anyway, it seems that we're going to keep the 701 on floats till the end of the season.

These are by the way 1150S floats, old style maybe :)   I read somewhere that the float size should be at least 100% of gross weight, so actually 1150 may be a fraction too small for a fully loaded 701.  On the other hand we have a very low installation, which should ensure a balanced weight distribution between floats during normal operation. Therefore, I believe 1150 is ok for us.

Awesome picture... I'm jealous of your old 950 straight floats.
