Whirlwind 2 bladed prop
Just mounted loaner prop from UL to help resolve some prop flange issues. Dudley the dog supervising as best he can in 90 degree heat and high humidity

Performance not quite like the Catto across the spectrum, but also only a two bladed versus three bladed which may account for my perceptions. Anyway, the install lasted about 4 hrs before I started chewing up the flange again, but this time also broke a couple of prop clamp bolts. Not sure whats going on, but am at the point of deciding to change out the crankshaft. At least I won't be pulling and oil soaked engine in the middle of January in an unheated hangar.
