Still have to cut the brackets and add rivets to hold down the fences to the wing skin/ribs.

How do you like the performance with the VG's ? I put them under the horizontal stab and I have them for the wings but have not put them on . Could you give me some info on the differences ?
THANKS : Garth
Hi Andre,
The wing fences are used to keep the plane tracking when turning/banking at high angles. Keeps the airflow running front-to-rear at high angles of bank (instead of side-to-side). Mainly used on planes having 'V' shaped wings (jets) and often seen on seaplanes. Bombardier CL215/415, Beaver, C-185 often have them.
On the CH701, they're NOT NEEDED !. BUT, they will fill the hole in the Slats brackets (cosmetic) and get discussions going !!! Improve 701 tracking at high turning rate, well maybe ???
I will report back on their use when I test fly them later this summer.
Regards,
Norm
