Jon - I made them by significantly altering a recessed light fixture trim ring. They're a full 4-3/4" inside diameter. The outside edge is flanged to match the curve of the cowl. The inside of the flange is trimmed with a very thin piece of suede leather where it rides on the fiberglass. They are held in place by springs that clip to brackets that are riveted to the baffling. I'm very pleased with them!
Where did you get those trim rings? They look great and it looks like you've got a nice big opening there for air inlet (I cut mine at 5")
No - it's a trim ring. The angle of the picture makes it look that way.
Is that a removable baffle on the inlet? (for cold weather?)
